Most of us already have heard about this piece of software. For those who have come in late, I put here something.
If you own a PC, I mean some box running MS Windows, then it is something for you. I don't know if it is available for Mac or any Linux distro.
This software optimizes the PC you are running it on. You get an advantage of having all the optimization options at a single place. You also get to play with the look and feel of your PC. For example, you have options to change your login screen, or your boot up screen. Well, there is much to tell about this thing, but I wouldn't be able to state it all. My DreamSpark DVD

Yesterday I got my Microsoft DreamSpark DVD. It all started after I saw a new affiliate’s address on the DreamSpark website www.dreamsparkindia.com, under my city’s name. There was a phone number given too. I contacted the person responsible via the number given. I asked him all about the program. He also told that they would be charging Rs. 50 for the DVD. I got surprised to hear this, as on the site it was given that you can collect the DVDs for free. I once again checked the site, this time not only the home page but also the FAQ section. There it was given that the associated partners may take a fee for this process of distributing the DVD, and that would be not more than Rs. 50. After this I was fully assured that the person wasn’t cheating me, as I had read in many of the forum discussions about the DreamSpark DVDs.

Here comes the real story: I went to the given address at 11. The place is around 10 km from my home. As I don’t have a bicycle of a motorbike, I had the only one way, to go for auto rickshaws, and that too on the bumpiest roads of Muzaffarpur. It’s really horrible to travel by auto, in the route of Bhagwanpur to Mithanpura. Still, I landed at the place at around 11:20. When I went to the place in address, I found a big lock hanging, as if mocking me of all the troubles I had taken to get there. I phoned the person once again and he told that the people who stay at the office are out to market, and they would be getting back within half an hour. I told him that I would wait for another 1 hour and I would go back, if nobody shows up. It was really tight for me walking on the verandah for 1 hour. When I saw nobody getting in, I decided to return. It was just because I had told Mum that I would return within one and half hour and I had already spent two hours there. Oh man! My heart my sinking like hell!

I reached home, sent a mail to the person about the problem there. And then put him a call. When I called him, he asked me about my position. I told that I had returned back to my home. Still, he asked another person to call me and to give me all the information about the thing I had been searching for. I got a call just after five minutes then. And the person on the other side asked me to take the DVD by 6 in the evening. Meanwhile, I got good scolding from Mum, after she heard that how I had literally wasted my time. I had no courage to ask her permission to go to the same place again. Still, I asked, and after some angry looks I was granted permission.

I went on almost running. Reached the place, and got hold of my DVD. Alas! I had to pay Rs. 50 for it. Hey! It was not only Rs. 50, but also Rs. 30 as transportation charge and Rs. 5 for making phone calls. So the grand total became Rs. 85. Well! It’s nothing in comparison with the genuine licensed software I have got worth thousands of rupees.

The DVD’s cover is of pink color, as you can see in the photograph. The disk is manufactured by Moser Baer. There is a verification code given in there, with which you get verified as a student. And you get access to all the software on the DreamSpark website, all absolutely Free! Isn’t that great?

Hi! In this post I am going to give a summary of World War II - Pacific Heroes. This game is basically a point and shoot one. You take off from massive aircraft carriers to shoot down enemy fighters and torpedo Japanese war ships... or man anti-aircraft artillery defending against enemy raids.This is a high-end, console-like game, featuring 20 pulse-pounding missions and spectacular 3D scenery!

It's really obvious that you get addicted to this game if you start playing it once. The chapters in the beginning are quite simple. You have to just point and shoot. But the chapters after the 10th one start getting tougher. You feel like struggling to keep the enemies away from your mother vessel. All round, this game may keep you hooked up for hours.

Slumdog Millionaire - Simply Awesome!!!

Yesterday one of my friends asked me if I had watched the movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. My answer was negative. He told that this movie is just like those ‘anything never before’ type ones. He didn’t say much and asked me if I wanted its copy. I was affirmative. But in order to share this movie we had to take up good many number of problems. As he was right then physically very far, he had to transfer the file. And I hope you are aware about what might happen, if you try to transfer mammoth file on a speed of 20-30k. Just for this reason I asked him to convert the file to .3gp format and to upload it on some free space provider.

Today I have got the chance to download and watch the movie. My first reaction: Man! It’s simply AWESOME!!!!!

Well! Before anything about the movie I would like to thank and praise the director(s) and cast of the movie.

Dany Boyle and Loveleen Tandon have presented the thing in such a beautiful manner about which you can just dream of. Believe it or not, I was getting Goosebumps while watching it. It was not because it’s some horror movie or an action flick. It is basically a love story. But it has got all for which you can call it a perfect one.

Dev Patel (as Jamal Malik) and Freida Pinto (as Latika), both new comers, have given their best. You get to see the real face of slums in Mumbai. Lives of children there and how they are converted to ‘bhajan singing’ beggers, by some human trafficker. You would also get to see what are the most ugly deed and most ugly faces of human beings. The real picture of struggle in lives of people living in slums is what makes you think seriously. The expressions and emotions may let your eyes get moist.

This movie is no traditional Bollywood movie, with all those songs and excessive drama. I suggest the Indian filmmakers to take a lesson from this movie, otherwise the day is not far when they will be out of business.

Hey! I just and simply can’t explain what’s best about it, because it is the BEST! My innermost feelings are here but really aren’t expressed the way it should be. Okay! Now it’s upon you that which way you understand this.

This movie is going to be released on 23^rd January in India.

It doesn't seem like a stretch to suggest that America might now be ready to embrace films in the style of India's Bollywood films. While "Slumdog Millionaire" is far from a Bollywood tragic love story filled with singing and dancing, the way director Danny Boyle will rivet audiences with his film that is authentic to Indian culture while using a distinctly Western style of film-making might be enough proof that there is a profit to be made here.

"Slumdog Millionaire" is a drama exposing the tragic effects of poverty in gigantic Indian cities like Mumbai that is also fused with a modern day Indian fairytale. Jamal Malik is a young man on India's "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire" and is a question away from one million dollars when he's arrested on suspicion of cheating. Because Jamal is from the slums of India and has no educational background, it seems entirely improbable if not impossible that Jamal could make it this far, but each question is connected with distinct and sometimes painful memories for Jamal. It's as if he is destined to win, even though he only went on the show to impress a girl he has loved his whole life, Latika.

Danny Boyle ("28 Days Later," "Sunshine") takes us from memory to memory as Jamal advances question by question toward the million dollars. These memories offer vivid insight into poverty in India as well as the lives of Jamal, Latika and Jamal's older brother Salim. As children they are left parentless and taught how to swindle tourists, leading to lives of little fulfillment or even corruption. Despite being separated, Jamal and Latika are reunited several times and in fact Jamal's only motivation in life is his love for her.

While the young, unknown, Indian actors are absolutely amazing in this film, the biggest kudos go to director Boyle, who creates an astonishing film. For Boyle to go from science fiction and zombie thrillers to taking on a project as daring and unusual as "Slumdog Millionaire" proves that he's not only a brave director, but a versatile one. His great success with making this film intense, eye-opening and full of heart all at the same time prove that he's also an incredible one. "Slumdog" is just the beginning for Boyle who might be one of the most progressive and talented directors working today.

It's hard to be completely blown away by a film whose core message is about destiny and leans on the fact that Jamal is simply fated to do this well in explaining what has unfolded, but like any good film ought to, Boyle makes you a fan of the characters and not care as much about the logistics as you might normally do. The fact that this film starts out so dramatic and real makes it hard to embrace the fairytale it blossoms into, but it's the great visual storytelling along the way that makes it so enjoyable.

Are You A Hardcore Music Lover???

If your answer for the above question is yes, then read on! Music is the food for soul and those who are music lovers know this thing very well.
A few days back I was sitting ideal. I had got bored with the chemistry chapters I had been flipping through. And nothing was seeming so interesting to do at that time. Something struck me and I placed a call to Nikhil. Actually, a day before we had been hunting for a pirated disk of the Hindi movie 'Rock On!' That day we couldn't get that and I was very keen to watch that, say at any cost. Alas! I couldn't get that anywhere. So I asked Nikhil to search for the movie once more and come to my place. When he was there browsing the movie disks at one of the movie rent shops, he got the movie we were searching for. He called me instantly and asked me whether he should get that. I told him that what a dumb question he had been asking.
He turned up with the movie within ten minutes. The disc was a DVD, there were also some movies which were not of our interest. And this was for sure that we couldn't see that movie at his place as he didn't have a DVD player. I have a DVD drive in my laptop. I pushed that disc in the drive tray and started praying for it to run properly. There is a speciality in my DVD drive, whenever you are curious about any DVD, it wouldn't let that run. And the same happened with this disc. Somehow, after many tries we were able to run the disc. I navigated to the movie we were searching for. I played it... And you know what???!!! That was a hall print i.e. it was recorded in some cinema hall with the help of a camera. You can just imagine how terrible the picture and sound quality would be. Well! Our curiosity didn't let us stop watching even that so a ghastly print.
Okay! That was a bitter part of the story. We started the movie with all the curtains down and the volume to its fullest, giving a cenamatic effect. The movie started with a good song. It was really a good start. Many of the people would have found this movie a bit boring due to all the silent acting of Farhan Akhtar, in the first half. But his role was that way. He did all the justice to the character. His three friends and he himself were a band. The name of their band was 'Magik'. It showed a clear picture of a typical Indian scenario. How they got separated and what was the reason for their seperation etc. Well! It was very nice to see them perform at the stage once again in their mid-thirties.
I loved the songs most. All the actors has almost made the characters life like. I would recommend this movie for all, but especially for those who love music most (if you are a fool like me, and haven't watched the movie till now). The songs in this movie have a good touch of western music, and these would for sure get you goosebumps at some instances. Enjoy! And get your feedback, back to me.

Vista Vs Xp

I had bought my computer in 2006, in the month of June. There was Windows Xp preinstalled in the system. Still, the person at the shop asked me whether I would like to have Windows Vista. Vista had launched a few months ago when I had bought my computer. I simply told him that I would not be able to afford that. Hearing this he started laughing out loud. He told me,'Hello mister! Who is asking you to buy it? It is all pirated copy available here.' I was very much shocked to hear this as I had heard and read in many of the reviews that it would not be possible for anybody to copy Windows Vista's DVD. Just after recovering from the shock I asked him about how he did it. But I got a plain answer,'Boy! That's a secret.' After this I simply asked him to suggest what I should keep in my machine as OS. He flatly gave hands for Xp. For the reason part he told that it was a new thing and I should not go for it untill I get some good response from others. And I followed his advise, just like that. Also he had strong points to oppose vista, for example; many of the softwares were not supported by Vista at that time.
Okay! That was the story of yesterday. I had an impression that Vista would rock and I, as a dumb would always regret refusing Vista (pirated isn't a matter). And here comes the twist. I got to talk to one of my friends, luckily he 'had' Vista but now he has downgraded to Xp. The reason was the same, it doesn't allow to run some of the pirated softwares. Yeah! It is also true that his copy of Vista was pirated too. I have also seen haapy people with Vista, those who have got a legal copy of it. But when it comes to the majority I see Vista haters everywhere. Hey! I don't use either Xp or Vista, I am right now on UBUNTU and I am acting neutral in this war. Mind it!

'Microsoft is trying hard to get people to fall in love with Vista. Despite Vista being far superior to Xp in terms of security, a third of Vista users downgrade to Xp according to research firm's CTO Craig Barth in collaboration with InfoWorld. They surveyed more than 3000 computers shipped in the last six months and came to this conclusion. Sometimes, the downgrade was done by the customers once they purcahsed their computers, but there were instances were vendors such as Dell downgraded their systems based on request from their customers. Perhaps the most demeaning thing about the whole issue is that a lot of people are not looking at this as a downgrade at all. In their opinion, replacing Vista with Xp is actually an Upgrade! The deep penetration of Xp in the corporate environment is the reason for this. It looks like Microsoft's $300 million advertising campaign to boost Vista sales isn't helping.'

Personally I was very much annoyed with both the OSes, so I wouldn't give a personal comment. And that's the reason I am using a linux distro Ubuntu, despite my Windows partition crashed. If I would not have been that so annoyed I would have reinstalled Windows till now.

Dussehra At Muzaffarpur

Today is the ninth day of Navaratri. And it is just by chance that today My Dad has got holiday, unlike all the Sundays and other holidays. This was a chance for me to roam around the city to visit all the Dussehra ceremonies. Well! At 8 in the morning we started for our trip. That was not the best time to visit the places, but we just wanted to avoid the rush hour. And this cost us a lot of degradation in the looks of the idols.

Okay! Let me start from the beginning. We had planned to take a round of the city. Those who are from Muzaffarpur, they will have the ease in understanding my visiting route. We started from our home, that is near Bhagwanpur. First place of stop was Bhagwanpur. The next places were Maripur, Imli Chatti, Sariayaganj, Pankaj Market, Durga Astahn at Andigola, Banaras Bank Chawk, Garib Asthan, Kalyani, Motijheel, DharamShaala Chawk, Kalam Bagh Chawk, Chatta Chawk, Lenin Chawk and Gobarsahi Chawk respectively.

The main attractions were at Pankaj Market and Durga Asthan. This was just by chance that we entered Garib Asthan Mandir. It was a big surprise for me to see bhajan-kirtan going on there. Well! I think this is unusual here where you only get devotional songs on loudspeakers. All the way we could see people busy with all the busy stuff and the loudspeakers blaring as loud as those could.

I have put the photographs of the places I have visited today. The pictures must have been at their best if I would have gone in the evening, but I have stated the reasons earlier. Anyway this is a good glimpse of Durga Pooja at Muzaffarpur. Pictures look attractive but those would be more if I would have been there in the evening. Now, this is the evening time, my Mum has gone with Dad to have her trip.

An Inconvinient Truth

Today at 10 I had been flipping through channels to get some interesting content. Yeah! It was off course after my Dad left for office. I don't prefer to watch TV when he is at home. And that is solely because I don't love getting scolded.
Well! I just stumbled across Discovery Channel and just by chance one of my favorite programs were on. I continued there, but how long could that last? The documentary got over in 30 minutes. The next program was 'Download: The True Story of Internet', it is also one of my favorites. But that was a repeat telecast and I had seen it already. So, once again I started flipping through.
This time I stopped at HBO. The channel was showing something which looked more like a documentary than a movie, for which the channel is known.
At first, I thought that this is some award ceremony or some advertisement. I stayed tuned, then I realized that it was very famous documentary 'An Inconvenient Truth'.
This movie or documentary was made by Al Gore to catch the world's attention about the detoriating conditions of our environment. He had collected fact and figures over years to make this movie. He has presented everything this so neatly that there isn't any chance for a doubt arising in our minds.
He has freely pulled up the topic of Global Warming, Population Explosion and the role of politics in helping us protect our environment. He has presented some stunning truths about how some governments prosecuted some of the scientist who came forward to oppose the blind and unplanned industrial development. He has presented some video footages about how the ice is melting in the polar regions. The computer generated graphics of how the lowlands would get submerged are really frightening. He clearly points out that how we all are responsible for it. There are some finding about the things, which most of us consider crap.
The question is clear, are we going to give our coming generations a better place to live, or are we just digging our grave. This movie will give any ignorant person a view of what is happening due to acts for our convenience.
The message is also clear, get serious about this otherwise get ready to face the nature's fury. I would recommend all to watch this movie. Also, in order to spread a general awareness you should insist others to watch it. An Awesome Morning!

Today I got up at 4, and as usual could not make a delay hitting snooze of my alarm clock. Okay! Finally I got up somewhere between 6:30 and 7o'clock. I think that you are aware about what's the style with which I start my morning. For the information of others, who are not aware about this; I adore my bed for pretty good time even after I am wide awake. Well! That should be with most of us. Isn't it?
At 7 I had a 'quick' breakfast'. Yup! That was pretty quick. And headed for my the same all time boring (and also exciting, but not for me) study room. I feel so bore there, that generally I feel like sleeping. Yeah! This habit is in my blood.
Well! At around 8 it started growing dark, and what it could be because of? It was a beautiful site guys! I ran off with my camera to the terrace. And how it looked like, you are seeing it now.
I was so damn stunned to see this, that I almost forgot that Dad had called me for some work.
After a few minutes wind almost started howling. And you know! That is the time when everybody loves to be on their terraces.
You can see what an all sort of textures nature can produce. And I felt like a fool roaming around with a camera in such a beautiful weather. Some of the children in my neighborhood are very fond of my camera and they always keep on asking me to click their pics.
Well! That was all about that beautiful sight. But what came afterward, that mean just a few minutes ago was very troubling.
The wind was high, still it could not carry all those black-blacky clouds and it started pouring heavy. My study table is kept near a window in my damn study room. Many a times that is not kept there, but this is for sure that my books are always kept near the window.
And today, just by chance, I had left the windows open.
Outside in the veranda I kept on enjoying the rain and on the other side the same sweet rain kept on wetting my books. You can guess about what happened afterward. Yeah! As usual I got all those scoldings.
Hey! Yesterday I got to chat with Ashish. Many of my older buddies must not be aware about him. He is right now at Thapar University, Patiala. And it was quite surprising to know that he has opted for civil engineering. I got some scraps from Manendra too but we couldn't have a full fledged chat. He is crazy! He told that he was right then in Mumbai. What the fish is he doing over there man?! I asked him about this but the answer was nothing. Manendra! I hope you would answer this question soon.
Also I got contact with Sumit Sinha. He is always in hurry. And just as all times, we couldn't chat.
Well! That was all about yesterday.
Today is Saptami i.e. seventh day of Durga Pooja. I had thought to go for seeing all the Durga Pooja ceremonies today. But after this rain I don't think that it would be wise enough to get out of home, and swim across the whole city. Also, the preparation must have got a setback due to this rain.
Well! Wish you all a very Happy Durga Pooja. Hope you enjoy this season and may mother Durga shower all her grace over you! Jai Mata Di!

BBC –The Big Blunder Corporation

As usual I had been listening to BBC news on my radio, at 6:30 am (IST). You get it at the frequency of 596 KHz, in northern India, in other way it is on Short Wave (SW) 6.30 MHz

At around 6:45 am news about the present condition of finance in America was on air. Precisely it was about the conversion of a private bank to a nationalized one. I don’t remember what name was that of bank. It was surprising for us to hear that. At one side, in India, where we are going private leaving the national mark behind, America is doing the opposite. Well! This may be true due to the present economic condition.

For the detailed report a reporter was presented, and off course he was speaking in English. As usual, in the Hindi telecast of the BBC news they convert any foreign language to Hindi, whether it is English or any other language. Surprisingly, the voice of the reporter wasn’t dubbed and we continued to hear his thick American accented English. We thought that it might be a minor mistake. But all of a sudden I realized that the news program was continuing in English itself.

Really it was a blunder from BBC’s side. And it got better after the Hindi newsreader was kept back to air and he apologized for the technical error. I think this must be one of those blunders by BBC which occur once in a decade.

Bill Gates Predicts The Future; Or The Past

Bill Gates is often called stealer of ideas, and accused of indulging in less than ethical business practices. He’s also infamous for his sometimes awry predictions- “640 K ought to be enough for everybody,” which to be honest was probably wrongly attributed for him. It’s probably all that money he’s surrounded by that causes jealousy and need for such rumors.

However, the latest prediction, some say, suggests that he’s retired just in time… Addressing a gathering of 1600 researchers, developers and academics in Hong Kong, Bill Gates shared his ‘vision’ about the future of the computer use. This was a seminar marking the tenth anniversary of Microsoft, at their Asian research wing.

He looked far into the future and discussed the various transformations that he expects in technology. He noted how the increasing connectivity to the internet will allow for more development of server-based technology. “People often talk about this as the internet service revolution, which will eventually lead to machines that have lots of server capacity, lots of low cost computing, low-cost storage and that will let us write software in an even more ambitious way, eliminating the last constraints we have.” Reading between the lines, it means that in the future, Microsoft hopes to catch up with Google and offer services in lines of Google apps.

His other gem was about touch screen appliances being everywhere, “because they’re fairly developed in the labs, I can say that in 10 years (they) will be widespread.” Yes, he did say “In ten years, they will be fairly widespread,” in case you thought you read wrong. In another interview, for BBC, he said “I’ll be brave, in five years we’ll have many tens of million of people sitting browsing their photos, browsing their music, organizing their lives using this type of touch interface.”

Err… Mr. Gates, it’s called an iPhone or an iPod Touch, and millions are already using such devices.

Some other Gates gems include “I believe OS/2 is destined to be the most important operating system, and possibly program, of all time.”

It’s sad really, because a lot of Linux fan boys and general Microsoft bashers now get to add more fuel to the already raging anti-Microsoft fire. On some forum a member seems to have the last laugh, “Hell, what do you expect from a person who never saw the end of the millennium coming.” This was in reference to the Y2K bug.

Hey! Have you got any idea what I had been talking about yesterday? Okay! Just chill! Let me make you understand it completely.

Let us imagine a situation. I see a man robbing a girl. The robber has a pistol and she is taking the belongings of the girl. There is no one around. Just as in Hindi movies, I grab the robber’s neck from behind, stealthily. The robber leaves the girl and starts over me. In the meanwhile the girl flees and I remain there to fight him. He points his gun towards me and with a flash I grab his gun, still in his hands. We start struggling for the possession of gun and somehow bullet is triggered. With the Bang of bullet you reach to the scene and you see a gun in my hands and a man dying on ground. You call police and I am taken under arrest. I try to tell the policemen that I am innocent. But just like Hindi movies they tell me that I’ll have to present my part of story in the court.

At the court, in absence of enough proofs I am accused of killing a person and I am also charged for having illegal possession of a gun. I am sentenced for a life imprisonment. I don’t know where the girl has gone, whom I had saved from that robber. Well! That is not important now. The important thing is that how would I spend my 14 years in jail and that too for saving a helpless girl.

Another instance: You ask your girlfriend for a date. You plan to have lunch at a restaurant. You ask her to reach there by one in the noon. It is certainly going to be a romantic encounter. It was time and you got out of your flat for plan of the time. Just as you started your bike you see a car hit a child and run away. No one comes to the rescue of child and you run to pick up the child. You ask one of the pedestrians to help you take the child to hospital. You get late for your schedule. There at the restaurant you girlfriend is waiting. When you get too late she puts you a call and talks in a very angry language. You try to make her understand a lot but she is not ready to listen a single word.

Now, what do you feel with these two instances? If you would have been at the lead role, what would you wish to?

Let’s have a look at the first case. Generally a person would beg for the faith in his statement, in the court of law. The person would simply think ‘if you could see the matter as I had seen and felt’ or ‘if you had been there then you would understand and believe’. This can be simply done by video shooting of the event or with the other measures. But just imagine about a video playing in your mind, with all the emotions which a person has felt while he was seeing that with his/her eyes. Or take it the other way. I transfer the memories of that event from my mind to that of the Judge. How would that be?

Let’s take the same thing in the second case. You transfer the memories of the date day event to your girlfriend’s mind. Then how easy it would become for you to make her understand? It would be the same way you saw the accident, the way you felt at that time, and your girlfriend is getting all that the same way.

Here my point is, wouldn’t it be revolutionary to develop a technology which facilitates this? What do you say?

Today technology has taken us that so far, which used to be the limits of old science fictions. Telecommunication was a thing of dreams. The Hindu mythologies added a lot to this feeling, where telepathic communication was depicted very commonly. Telecom is a thing of wonder for the older generation and a thing of exploitation for the present generation.
This article is going to put an idea which may be revolutionary or a dumb imagination.
Every one of us would have gone somewhere for sightseeing or leisure. Many of us must have done or faced something which haunts us. Somebody would have met a cine star etc. The point behind mentioning all these is we get experiences with every step of ours.
There are many ways for us to share our experiences. Today we do this by clicking photographs, shooting videos, describing vocally, writing etc. and showing or telling those to others. The best part is we ask the person to make an image of the description, which is off course his own and is in his/her mind. This makes every persons’ mental image of the description a unique one.
What if, you want a person to feel the way you felt, when a particular event occurred. What if, it becomes possible for us to record our experiences, not the way a camera or tape would do. I hope you understand; that would be completely different from the ways we have today.
I shall continue this topic tomorrow. Have your thought over this? I hope I am clear enough to have your response.

My Bike, The Worst Bike

Yester night my Dad returned at around 9 pm from his office. As usual the day was hectic and tiring, especially for my Dad. He told me that, to add some spice to the situation his bike gave up around 2 km away from home. He had to come home dragging it all the way.

That was the yester night part of the story. To have a good end for this annoying story, we started early morning.

At around 8 we made our first move. We suspected that the fuel flow was getting obstructed. For the diagnosis we tried opening the ‘T’. It is the switch which is connected to the fuel tank and controls its flow. After a lot of trails and contacting Uncle Google, we gave up and called up a mechanic. We simply asked him what to do next as we couldn’t take that bloody thing dragging all the way long. My Dad was on line and he was told what to do next.

I thought of trying something but we didn’t have appropriate tools. After all, my Dad decided to detach the fuel tank of the bike. Have you ever done that? It is like making your bike stark naked. A detached tank made it easy for us to try our hands on the poor ‘T’. We tried a lot but came up with almost nothing. Yeah! That’s another point that we didn’t have right tools. Then I started to my neighbors, one by one, asking if they have any of the compatible tools. My search didn’t go futile and one of our neighbors, being extremely kind gave me whatever he had. The thing was useful for us. After a good two hours of struggle we managed to open the ‘T’ and took out its dirty contents. It seemed as if every part ahs been smeared in a light red paint. I don’t know what was that, probably rust or some other metallic oxide.

Now comes the toughest part. After a lot of planning we decided to wash the tank with simple water. Also we couldn’t risk the tank, washing it with the same dirty petrol we had taken out from it. Well! We started after all. There comes the biggest problem. You know that it wouldn’t be nice for an engine to have even a single drop of water. After washing the tank we came to know that we are not able to get the remaining water out of it. They have such designs for a fuel tank that you can’t do anything with that directly, at least when you are at home.

Praying for the goodwill we kept on washing. Also we spent a got amount of our energy shaking the water out. When we couldn’t go any further, we transferred the rest of the work to our Most Mighty, the Sun.

The work is going on till now and I am praying for the good will of the bike. What do you say? Isn’t it the worst bike?

Microsoft Photosynth, Just Amazing!

Just imagine you go Paris on a tour. You have just your camera phone to hunt around clicking pictures. You don’t want to risk your memories to some bad quality video from a camera phone.

You return home and one of your friends asks you to show the pictures. He is impressed by the snaps and wishes if he/she could see that place in reality, if not at least a video of the place. Then you feel guilty about your decision to have only snaps.

Well! Those days are gone where you would have to face such a problem. Our old grandpa Microsoft has unveiled Photosynth. You might feel weird about the name but this is very interesting.

Microsoft’s livelabs has unveiled software named Photosynth. It pools together photos into synths that generates 3D panorama of the shot subject. On August 20 it was released to common public.

In simple words; it is a software which converts your two dimensional photographs in three dimensional objects. From the above mentioned situation, you can use this software to make your photographs in a 3D structure to let your friends feel the real thing. This software works by identifying common elements in a bunch of snaps, and creating a virtual 3D view of the subject, and placing the photos in the appropriate positions depending on the angle at which the subject was photographed. This means that more the number of photographs, the more clear and accurate would be the 3D representation.

In order to use this service it is necessary to download an installation file from the website (www.photosynth.com). The installation has two components, a browser for viewing synths and software for creating the synths.

This service is currently free and there is an upload limit of 20GB. Alas! This thing is still in its infancy and you would not get anything more than a very grainy 3D structure for your photographs. Well! This is a good thing to play around. So just ask your friend to take around a thousand snaps of yours, through different angles. And get ready to see a grainy yourself of you in a zoom able and movable 3D. Enjoy!

Hellooo! Don't get afraid! This Lungi clad person is none other than me. I was a bit thoughtful before posting this image. There was a single question in my mind,'what if my friends see this?' And now that fear has also gone. I have come on the path of Do or Die. Well! Today is a grate day. It is very pleasent today. No heat, no sweat and no hot blood. Afterall I am Happy today. Wireless Power..... Do You Believe This?

I had to go for Mumbai form my hometown Muzaffarpur. As usual I was asked to book tickets for either train or a flight. But at that time I was in a jolly mood and started on my bike. I hope you can imagine what a long distance that would be! Well! I had asked my Mum to pack up some home made snacks. You know; I enjoy those a lot. For the sake of luggage I had a backpack which contained my Laptop, a few clothes, a water bottle, an ultimate power survival gadget and off course a good stack of currency notes.

It was going all fine before I stopped at some village in MP. I took a brake for around 8 hours. And that time was spent mostly sleeping and surfing internet on to my laptop. On my GPS enabled handset I came to know that I am 350 Km away from Bhopal. Just then my laptop batteries gave up. I had no way to charge up. Then I started on my cell phone itself. After a lot of multitasking my cell phone started giving low battery signals. Then I took out the gadget, connected it to phone and put that on my belt. Just after this I started for my next stop. The whole way I kept on receiving phone calls, even when the battery was out. How is that?

At Bhopal I decided to stay for half an hour and dropped at a restaurant. I took my Laptop out and kept it on the table. After fifteen minutes I switched it on. Viola! The battery was indicating full charge. I shut that down, packed up and started for my next stop…………

These are not the talks of distant future. M2E is going to launch a product which will charge electronic gadgets with human motion, just in case; even your mobile phone. It is another point that the technology is in its infancy.

Well! About the charging of a laptop must would have seemed a miracle. But it is not! A new technology is in its development stage, called as Wireless Resonant Energy Link (WREL). This is a technology which transmits power without cords and is developed by Intel. Just imagine………… an antenna at the terrace of every home, supplying power. Can you imagine a world without electric poles and underground electric cables? Your home just as a cell phone. You wouldn’t ever need to push the charger into the socket for charging. What do you think about this?

Well! That had been all about what I came to know today. It is really stunning. Don't you think so? The picture besides this article clears a bit but not enough for us to understand. At first glance I just refused to believe this but with the help of Uncle Google my doubts are cleared. If you have any get cleared it soon before it hogs your brain to make you kill yourself. This was a boring day. I don' t know how, but it is a truth that I have slept around 4 hours in the noon. याह! अब तो सिर्फ़ बेरोजगारी ही छाई है.
Well! now a days I have joined some online classes. These are really as much interactive as a real classroom. See the technology marvels! Yeh! It is another issue that the 'Free' classes are highly irregular. I don't mind that!

Hey! This is my latest photograph. I shot it today morning. You see it was very cloudy today. It getting colder day by day. It's not of long past that we were very much annoyed with the hot days. But last three days were comparatively colder.
You see that white stocking sort of thing in my left leg. That it is the bloody thing which doctors gave me for the prevention of further Thrombosis. What the 'F'! I don't look better than a crippled fellow in this. Yup! That is an another issue that how I felt when I couldn't stand on my own feet, can you imagine this. Those were the most hellish of the days. Oh god! Please forgive me for I am calling names to my healers even after such a tragic turn in my life.
It is definite that I am not enjoying my days right now. There is a big wagon of pressure engulfing me from all sides. Anyways I'm fighting hard for my better future. Wish you a future better than mine!

It was at yesterday morning at 11:30 that I boarded Prashanti Express from Visakhapatnam. At the railway station got to meet some of the old friends from my last school. The first person was Amit, a guy fro Khagaria, Bihar who came into my sight. Yeah! It was something which refreshed all those sweet memories of past school days. After sometime of the general gossips, that fellow pointed out a girl from the crowd and asked me to recognize her. To my utter surprise she too was my ex-classmate, Malini and it was just a coincidence that we happened to see each other. After some formal pleasantries I came to know that she is also boarding the same train. Many of classmates were on board the train but to travel with the old and lost friends was a novel experience.
We sat chitchatting till late in night. Allover, this journey was one of the best of my life. I thank all those ie; Malini and Amit to make it a memorable one.

Illusion....

A way to venture and ventilate about what we see is just a small calculation of our mind. The world at a gathering provokes the feelings of oneness. But, is the sympathy shown, really marks and fulfills the desire of every individual? Its really pathetic to have viscous circles in life which binds us to the to the things we like; but ideally tat doesn't exist. We are deemed and bound by the progressive thoughts and vivid pictures that instantly knocks our mind and urges us to move forward. But this memorandum of thought is just an illusion. We make a way to proceed and accept the challenges, and overcome the resistances but still we lurk behind in iron bars due to ugly evil which is more attractive than good. Everything in this milieu seems to look like the innocent beauty and haunts us to meet our desire. Obviously choice is ours to meet the platform which soothes us in one way or other. But, thongs that apprehend us to meet do seldom happen. Our mind irrigates every nook and corner of this world , still it remains behind to answer, to answer with greatest individuality and humanity about the fake that overtakes our mind and soul. What we think and see is just an illusion and it will remain the same until and unless we have the complete and perfect summary of the one about which we are trying to acquire, achieve and accept. Every bit of emotion & sorrow which comes to us is nothing but a realisation towards illusion. We dare to bear the reality on our shoulders and reach the Himalayan heights only after we take the challenge, find the strength and put on heart to it. Life rocks like an illusion for u because this devil illusion plays its vital role in our day to day life --- what we feel and experience do take our mind towards satisfaction. But this is satisfactory to our little hearts only for a very short interval of time; as it is mandatory to face the reality of the world and not to be fallen in traps of fake that borrow our heart and keeps our mind intermingled with every short of love and affection that bluffs our internal soul like rotten giants which evolves from hell.
So, do think; think; think before you take a step to move forward and hug a newly born Deity that illusions your pure soul. since its a remedy and penance to live one's life with full pleasure.

Friends, you all might be wondering that who has penned down this lecture and why has he/she done so!? Sorry! I did not even explained and any thought and thinking but still I detained myself to give lecture. Obviously, we all are actor and actress who play their part on this beautiful blue planet. But the present scenario, does not require efficient students(actors) who masters every bit of education but the potential giants who can make the world better and bright for tomorrow. The choice is ours and; who chooses to be what will soon exaggerated before every corners of this milieu. The political satire in our country is still an issue of concern. Men fight among themselves in the name of god, caste and creed and all such nuisance that prevails in the society and the world. I do hope, what I am trying to intervene and ventilate to every person is neither understood nor neglected. Lets come to the point, I just want to say that," time is very less, where is the time to hate each other. " We have to stand on our feet; arouse and awake every individual to take the challenge and find their strength so as to live in complete peace. We must try to develop our nation as one being. Our culture is same, we are the sons of the same motherland, then why do we lack that potentiality which urges us to move forward. Why the pathetic departure of our grate soldiers is not paid any heed and attention? This is happening and will continue, until and unless we join our hands together and move forward with grate sympathy and humility, keeping in mind, the step which we take is beneficial for mankind.
So, I urge to share a message of universal brotherhood, love and affection among ourselves to change the whole political satire that exits on this indispensable EARTH.

Day before yesterday we had organised farewell party for our seniors "Scintillating Titans-2007". Everything went on fine and most of us enjoyed it a lot and especially our seniors. It was just a few months back that they had given us Freshers' Day party, now it was our turn. I liked seniors' behaviour during the programme but by the end of it all the impression had gone. We could find it very difficult to convince them about our programmes as they were in full planning to grab their chance to come upon the stage. I was very angry when I came to know that we couldn't perform some of the numbers just because of their folly, they should have understood it. I can agree to the fact that all the numbers were not rocking but this is also the fact that they just wasted our stage performance time doing foolish and useless things as cricket on the stage that too without any theme. This was really disgusting. I criticise theirs' this step. Anyway I'm satisfied with my performance as I didn't do any blunder as I'd dreamt of a few days before. I was on guitar and got five songs & an instrumental music programme as my part. I've got a single photograph. Extreme left is Guljar from JH8, mid-one is Kumar Amit JH4, right one is me Ankur Mishra JH4. In the backyard is Maddy 10th grade on drums & Saket JH8 on congo. All from Vikas Airport Campus, Visakhapatnam, Andra Pradesh, INDIA.

It Is Very Difficult To Forget The Past

Yesternight I couldn't sleep in time just because it was the last day of our eleventh grade. All the boys were in festive mood and I was forcibly dragged to the rumble. I being a Guitarist, was requested to play guitar and the guys were to sing over that. I'm not complaining about the situation, but it was the overflowing memories of my past five years which kept on disturbing me; I was feeling as if everything was tasteless. I was as if should have stayed in those olden days then it would be far better though I'm at a better place now.
I remember those days from my last school which were the the most precious ones for me. Whenever we were in a mood of celebration on special ocassions we used to do such things which were celebration plus. At some times we used to dance and used to get comments like "had you gone mad?". Also we used to sing a lot which was sometimes becoming cacophony when a lot of people get on with us.A majority of boys used to play soccer and cricket for the whole day on the holidays. And some had their own way of games ie; purly Indian games like Gilli-danda (miniature/ancient form of cricket) and Kusti (wrestling), and I was the foolish one who was always sticking to his guitar. Some were involve in some illegal acts too like using cameras, cellphones etc. These were not importnt as these were the target of authorities. Sometimes my passion 'guitar' used to create headache for others, but I never let them ovrcome me. I really miss those days - the golden days of my life. God! Can you return me all those days?

Farewell To Eleventh Grade

It was a whole 'good, bad, cheerful, rocking & sad' +1 session & now there are only few hours left to get it finish completely. For me this year has each and every grave experince with some fantastic ones too, but only a few. I don't think that it would be worthy to write everything which has gone through the year. But there were really some worthy instances in this year that I shouldn't skip mentioning; Got some very entertaining and mind boglling experiences apart from those very digusting and truly heart breaking instances.
First of all this year my academic perfomance came as a hellish snake biting me everytime. I had been getting coaching classes for copetitive examinations too but now it seems that all has gone in vain. Some of my friends were also complaining the same about their performance ( I get it now: it is not only me who is in this trouble). God knows why most of perform like this in higher studies and specially in the first year.
Now I have to warmly welcome my +2 grade in order to get best out of it. Yeah! Everybody have to do this. The coming session will be the competitive time of our life so I don't get it right to write something about this and create a condition 'oh god! what am I writing'. My friends, my roommates, classmates & the concerned others will be also caring about it like hell. I wish them all the best. Also I bid farewell to those who are leaving the school after this session ie; within few days. May god give them success. Also my best wishes to all those who are aspiring to get triumph into competitive examinations (including me). May God Bless All!
